Explore A New Province
Explore life on your own in northern Ontario, learning in the best outdoor classroom with beautiful landscapes surrounded by the Great Lakes, many rivers, and endless forests. Your two years here will get you exploring new places, meeting new friends, and building independence just in time to head back to your home province to complete your degree.

Earn Two Credentials
Earn your diploma here in one of three natural environment and outdoors programs with hands-on skills throughout the program, partnerships with provincial and federal natural resources and environmental organizations, and a paid co-op semester. Complete both your diploma and degree in only 4.5 years!

Field Camp
Work with your classmates and faculty to learn the fundamentals of safety and teamwork on multi-day field camp experiences. Be prepared to lead and participate in expeditions and field exercises, collect field data on fish and wildlife populations, identify ecosystem components for conserving and managing natural resources, and conduct forest inventory surveys and field measurements to determine forest resources.
We are proud that our long-running School of Natural Environment diploma programs have been accredited by the Canadian Environmental Accreditation Commission (CEAC), an independent body that oversees the Environmental Careers Organization of Canada (ECO Canada) Accreditation program.
